Start thinking ahead to Christmas

Even though we’re a week away from Halloween, it’s time to start thinking ahead to Christmas! This is especially true if you like to make handmade cards, gifts, or home decor items for the holidays. Now’s the time to start grabbing the products you need so you have plenty of time for the fun part–creating!

New holiday products are constantly arriving at Archiver’s, and with more than 100,000 items on the site, it can be hard to discover them all. Here are just a few recent arrivals that have caught my eye–maybe they’ll catch yours, too!

Our NEW, exclusive North Pole value pack

North Pole

Holiday creating just got a whole lot more fun with this value pack! Featuring festive designs by Doodlebug Design, this pack includes a bunch of double-sided 12×12 papers and a ton of matching embellishments. Use the pack (along with a few basic supplies) for scrapbooking, home decor projects, cards, tags … anything you want. I created nine mini cards, two A2 cards, a scrapbook page, a rosette, and decorated several gift boxes and still had a TON of supplies leftover. With nearly $40 worth of products for just $19.99, it’s a deal that can’t be beat. You can find it HERE.

Felt applique ornament kits

These kits are just too fun. You get all the pieces to create several adorable felt ornaments to hang on your tree, or tie on top of gifts. The best part–they’re easy to put together! This is especially great for someone who doesn’t have great sewing skills (like me). Besides ornaments, you can also find felt applique stocking kits and other fun decor kits, too. Find a bunch of great styles HERE.

Simple Stories DIY Christmas collection

I’m always a fan of Simple Stories’ products, and their newest Christmas collection doesn’t disappoint. However, this time, their collection includes more than just paper packs and embellishments – it includes card kits! These kits are a really great option if you want to make a bunch of fast holiday cards. I think they’d be great for co-worker cards, neighbor cards, teacher cards, and more. Start with the blank card pack, add the A2 patterned paper pack (with all the papers pre-cut to fit the blank cards), and then grab the A2 die-cut layers pack. If you want, you can even add the sticker pack or other embellishments from the collection. Then, simply put the paper on top of the card, add an embellishment or two, and your card is done. Fast and easy–and so much fun! Find the entire collection HERE.

Teresa Collins Tinsel & Company collection

This is another great Christmas collection, featuring a beautiful color palette of red, gold, silver, and white. It has a classic Christmas feel with a twist of the style you’ve come to know and love from Teresa Collins. I think many of the papers would be great for home decor projects or even just to stick in a simple frame. Find the 12×12 pack and lots of coordinating embellishments HERE.

Stocking kits

There’s just something so special about a handmade stocking! I know many adults who still use the same stocking their parent or grandparent created for them when they were a child. Archiver’s has lots of great options when it comes to stocking–needlepoint styles, felt applique styles, cross-stitch styles, and even books to knit something all your own. Start this fun tradition with your kids or grandkids!

Needle felting kits

Needle Felting

I’ve never tried needle felting yet, but I love the results! Create adorable little animals, flowers, purses, and more using a needle and some wool felt. I think they’d be fun for gift-giving–use the pieces to embellish a piece of clothing or accessory, or simply give the little critters as a sweet little gift to display. Archiver’s has lots of supplies for needle felting, including kits and books to help you get started. Find them HERE.

If you’re a die-cutter, there are SO MANY dies available on the site for holiday projects! Lots of fantastic designs have arrived over the past few weeks from brands like Cottage Cutz, Die-Namites, Sizzix, Paper Smooches, and more. They’d make great accents on handmade cards, as gift tags, or even in home decor projects. Scoop up a new style or two to add to your collection this year! Find shape dies HERE.

That’s not all … browse the site and you’ll find many, many more items for any holiday project you’re working on. Tell us in the comments what you’re looking forward to creating this holiday season!
