Click here to see a demo of envelopes and boxes being made with the Martha Stewart Score Board (Molly & I both LOVE this tool!).

The envelope guide that is stored underneath the tool has the instructions printed directly on the tool for easy use.

The door that opens on top of the tool is great for storing the scoring tool and the lid has a chart for making cards and boxes. (The 6×6 box is the perfect size to give handmade cards as a gift!)

Dress up your handmade boxes with border punches, gems and embellishments. I cut the lid on this box a little bit shorter to show the striped patterned paper used on the bottom half of the box.

Click here to watch a demonstration on how to create a blended ink effect on your cards, tags and pages using Distress Inks and a foam pad.

You can try out this technique in our Vintage Holidays card workshop (make the Santa card shown in the video) or our 10 Tags workshop (make the lightpost tag and the banner tag shown in the video).  The card with the lightpost and the card with the blue snowflakes can be seen in our Holiday card showcase.  Make sure you’re stopping in to check out Tim’s technique!

If you have never met or seen Lindsay Moore from Cosmo Cricket, you are in for a real treat!  You never quite know what in the world Lindsay might say or do.  He is such a fun guy!  He is very excited about the new lines from Cosmo….and it’s easy to see why.  They are ADORABLE!  Can’t wait to get my paws on some Cosmo.

Click here to see Lindsay from Cosmo Cricket showing Molly his faves in the upcoming collections from Cosmo Cricket!

My favorite new stamp set…

Unity Stamp Co. is definitely a favorite of ours.  Their selection is huge and the quality is top notch!  I was lucky enough to chat with Christian while at CHA.  He and the rest of the Unity clan were super nice.  They had a cute little make and take at their booth that was ”manned” by guys!  That’s right, “Man Stampers”.  It was AWESOME.  I think a field trip to the Unity Stamp Co. is in our future…  :)

Circle Scissor Pro by EK Success is the newest circle cutter at Archiver’s and we’re loving it!  You can cut or draw circles 1″-6″, the blade is spring loaded and locks for safety, replacement blades can be kept in the handle for easy storage and you will be sure to cut a PERFECT circle each time.  The ends always match up (even on the 1″ circles!) and the tool is clear so you can easily see what you’re cutting (ideal for photos!).  Click HERE to see this tool in action!

Molly and I were lucky enough to have Kevin & Julianna from Sizzix stop by yesterday with their new electronic die-cutting machine, the eclips, and give us some training on it!  We fell in love immediately with this new toy…It won’t be in stores until mid-May, but Archiver’s will have it first :)   Here’s a sneak peek of Mol using the “preview laser” to see where she’s going to cut to make sure she gets to use every bit of scrap paper! ( I know you can’t see the laser very well, but believe us, it’s there!)
