Happy Tuesday everyone!

A short and sweet post for you today with a brand new board on Pinterest:

Keep Calm and ______ is everywhere!  It’s so much fun to see all of the different ideas people have.  One of my favorites (and one that will hopefully end up in my kitchen some day) is Keep Calm and Drink Wine.  Another fun one is Keep Calm and Scrap On, which would be great in my scrap room.

Check out this awesome Keep Calm a good friend of mine made for me with her Cameo.  It lives on my bulletin board here in my office and is a great reminder to be crafty:

How do you keep calm?

Tape of the Week

Tape comes in all sorts of colors and patterns and I’m pretty sure I love all of it.

It all started with the a pack of tapes from 7gypsies.  I saw it when I was working at the Maple Grove Archiver’s, but I wasn’t really sure what to do with it.  I bought it anyway because the colors and patterns were so cool (it was the pack with the orange, teal, and cream tapes) and I’m a sucker for cool products.

Then the Tissue Tapes from Tim Holtz was brought to my attention…and of course I had to have those as well.

So now about 30 rolls of tape later…I have to remind myself that not every layout needs a piece of tape.  This leads into my Pins of the Week.  Fun ways to use tape that AREN’T on a layout!

I love candles and usually have a few around my apartment.  Especially around Christmastime.  These tea lights would be adorable with some red or green tapes.  You could jazz up any candles with some fun washi tape for just about any theme.  Weddings, birthdays, a Tuesday night, Christmas, Halloween, you name it.  Same goes for the cute banner flags.  If you’re having birthday cupcakes and the theme of the party is pink princesses, grab some pink tape and you’re set!

What fun ways have you used tape on your projects?

Pinning Rosettes

Two really cool ideas to share with you this fine Tuesday morning:

How awesome are these rosettes!  They’re huge!

The blue rosettes and number corks are so much fun for New Year’s Eve!  You could easily make them to match any theme for any event!  Maybe you’re having a black and white cocktail party.  Just make some black and white rosettes, add some bling for a bit of glitz and glam and you’re set!  Maybe you’re having a football party with friends and want to jazz things up a bit.  Make some brown and green rosettes, and then some from the team colors.  You could add numbers of your favorite players or logo from the teams.  The possibilities are endless!

Have you pinned any cool decor ideas?

(Be sure to read all the way to the bottom of this post…you could be a winner if you do…just sayin’…)

Do you have have troubles figuring out which colors to use on a project?

I definitely do.  Sometimes I want to use a specific color because of the photo I’m using…but I can’t figure out what other colors would work with the layout.

That’s where Color Schemes come in.

We have a board on Pinterest with a bunch of fun color schemes that will hopefully help inspire you on your next project.  Check it out:

There are so many ways to combine colors, it’s kind of unbelievable!  We have over 30 pins in this board…and we’re just getting started!

The “pinspiration” is endless!
