Humor and handmade cards don’t usually go together, but I don’t see why they shouldn’t! I love reading through all the funny cards at Hallmark and I love making cards, so why not combine the two?!

All 3 of these cards have 3 products in common: Silhouette SD die-cut machine, cardstock and a printer. If you don’t want to handwrite your funny sentiments, you can always run your cardstock through a printer (*Kinko’s will also print on our cardstock). And the Silhouette is a great tool for card-makers and scrapbookers…I cut out the word bubble, the skateboard, the girl and the bridge using this tool. You can adjust the shape or word to any size you need. Plus, my favorite feature is that it cuts from vinyl (vinyl doesn’t require the use of a cutting mat so you can cut forever on the adhesive vinyl and not worry about using up your mats!) Check out the book Get Real Greetings for tons of sassy ideas for your handmade cards
