The inspiration on Pinterest is endless…do I sound like a broken record yet?
So I’m creating a challenge for myself in the next couple of weeks and hopefully you’ll find as much inspiration as I’m hoping to.
There are so many cool pictures and quotes and design-y things on Pinterest…and most of the time they just hang out on one of my boards. And that’s it. I don’t do anything with them (which is pretty sad if you ask me).
So my challenge…
To actually USE these pins for inspiring projects.
For example, the yellow square that says “THINK YOU CAN…” would be an adorable start to a layout.
It might be a photo, a quote, a texture, a color scheme, anything.
Inspiration is everywhere.
How does Pinterest inspire you?

(Man. I need to think of some better titles for these posts…any brilliant suggestions?)
Pick of the Week time here on the blog…and stamps it is! Well stamps they are!

These are the stamps sets that coordinate with the Kraft Funday collections from My Mind’s Eye and I’ve just fallen in major like with them! The patterns are subtle, but you could definitely make them stand out with bright colors or on fun patterns. They’re adorable for just about any project – and they’ll probably be just as adorable in my new SMASH book (which I’m going to start working on this weekend)!
I’m also thinkin’ those dots would be adorable stamped at random on a 12″ x 12″ layout, to accent a photo…
Happy Weekend!

Have you been inspired by Pinterest lately?
I feel like it’s a daily thing for me. Whether I’m looking for a recipe, a fun way to decorate my kitchen, something crafting to make, or black and white photographs, there is always something that catches my eye.
Here’s what caught my eye this morning (if you click the “read the rest of this entry” I have a bigger image that’s a bit easier to read):

My SMASH book is done.
It’s full.
I only have maybe 6 more pictures to put in the book (first I have to remember where I saved them…) and then it will officially be done. Check it out (I also pretty much love Instagram too…):
That’s just about every page in my SMASH book. Again, just a few more photos and it’s doneski.
So now what.
Another SMASH book. That’s what.
I’m thinkin’ it’s going to be the Eco Green one…green really is my favorite color.
I’ve even started collecting things to put in my next book. Pictures galore (thanks Instagram and Pocket Booth!). A toothpick from my first turkey burger. A Laffy Taffy wrapper with a really “great” joke. Funny emails and text from Culynn. More hilarious quotes and stories from my Grandma.
My first SMASH book was the International Yellow book (mostly because there’s a page in it that says “Gesundheit!”). It’ll be so much fun to look back at all of those memories. I put so many fun (and funny!) things in that book and really stretched myself out of my comfort zone. I’ve admitted it before…I’m a perfectionist. SMASHing things into my SMASH book took a bit of getting used to! But I’m so glad I jumped in and finished a folio.
Now I just have to catch up to Culynn…he’s on his 4th or 5th book. Oh boy. Those SMASHing husbands.
Bonus? ALL SMASH products are 30% off in stores now through Wednesday, February 15.
Another bonus? Select SMASH bundles are 20% off on the Annex now through Wednesday, February 15.
Happy SMASHing!

We did a little rearranging on the Annex…so hopefully you’ve gotten to check it out. If not, it’s my Pick of the Week!
Our Home Decor section is now called “Creative Display” and has been broken down into more categories to help you find exactly what you’re looking for to decorate your home:
One of my absolute favorites right now are the District Market printed burlap panels from Tim Holtz (so bonus Pick of the Week?):
These are just a few of the designs available on the Annex. I’m seriously considering putting a few of these above my bookcases at home. We’ve got this library ladder bookcase thing going on in our living room and I think the Subway panel would be a very nice addition to the look we’ve got going on. Culynn – thoughts?
Happy Weekend and Happy Decorating!

I found a bunch of cute ideas in my many hours on Pinterest and just had to have another Pin of the Week post this week…
Any of these ideas would be super cute for your kiddo Valentines this year. I don’t have any kiddos yet…but I’ll definitely be saving these ideas for those future little ones.
Remember, you can pin any of the Archiver’s ideas or products you love on Archivers Annex – just click the “Pin It” button to add it to a board!

Pin of the Week time.
Are you loving Pinterest this year as much as I am? The only thing I REALLY need to do is start DOING the things I’m pinning! 2400+ pins…and I’ve only done a few of them…uff da.
So the Pin of the Week for this week is about this holiday that’s right around the corner.
Valentine’s Day.
Yesterday I shared with you a bunch of cute “little” ideas for Valentine’s Day. Today, it’s about some bigger ideas for a few people. Minis are great and really do mean a lot AND you can make a bunch in little time. If you’re not big into this holiday, but still want to give a nice gift to someone in your life, check out these cute Valentine creative display/wall art ideas:
A frame. A tray. Some kind of creative display that shows how much you care.
ANYTHING handmade always means so much more than something you can pick up at the last minute at a store.
Here are a couple other ideas from Archiver’s…
I’d love to see your Valentine ideas for 2012! Post a picture on the Archiver’s Facebook page!
Happy Crafting!

Valentine’s Day is just over a week away – have you made your Valentines yet?
If you haven’t, don’t fret. My blog post today is all about making adorable little Valentines in little time.
Check out these adorable mini cards (all part of our Valentine Card Showcase going on in stores now!):

There are SO MANY possibilities for mini cards – and once you get started, sometimes it’s hard to stop!
Mini cards are also a great way to use up those odds and ends you have lying around, especially those scraps of cardstock and patterned paper you just can’t throw away.
Be sure to check out our great selection of Valentine ideas on our website!

It’s the last day of January (good night where is 2012 going)…and the stores are pretty much exploding with Valentine’s Day products. I think one of the grocery stores here has had Valentine candy out since around Christmas.
So in the spirit of this holiday of loooove…my pin of the week!
What a cute idea for some creative display in your home, apartment, classroom, desk at work, wherever! Grab a heart punch and a shadowbox, some cute paper or cardstock, and some adhesive, and bam. An adorable frame (or two or three) for wherever you choose to display it.
Here are a couple more variations on this cute idea:

Love is in the air! Any of these would make a really special Valentine’s Day gift for a friend or loved one. You could even change it up and use a star punch, or a dinosaur punch, or whatever punch you’d like.
Happy Crafting!
