This is why.

In honor of National Scrapbooking Day this weekend, here is my list:

I scrap because I can.

I scrap because I want to.

I scrap as an outlet.

I scrap because I have way too much paper and embellishments and need to use them.

I scrap to tell a story.

I scrap because I love taking pictures and don’t want them to sit in a memory card/on my computer.

I scrap because I like to be crafty.

I scrap because it challenges me to think outside the box.

I scrap to preserve my memories, adventures, photos, quotes, boring every-day things, etc. for my future children.

I scrap because I love staring at layouts for hours (or day) until they’re just right.

I scrap because I love it.

That’s why.

I think these layouts sum up everything I’ve just listed.  Enjoy.

That’s why.

i scrap because i have something to say, because i love photography, because i want to be remember as more then just a face in a photo when I am gone from this world. The biggest reason I scrap is because to me it isn’t a chore, it is a gift to have all those memories of the wonderful people in my life. i will cherish them in my hart for my life, but someday someone else we see then and know that I loved something, some one, some place. Scrapping puts all my passions in one place!! Thanks for sharing the blog with us every day & the special statements in today’s!!

Wow! I also went to St. Maarten and have been waiting to scrap my trip. Now I can just “borrow” some of your ideas! I am in love with using Heidi Swapp’s new pages and embellishments. Thanks for all the great inspiration! (It is a beautiful place, isn’t it?)
