Scrap-Lift Monday: Crazy about circles

It’s Scrap-Lift Monday!

I was inspired by the use of circles on this page from a recent issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.

But instead of scraplifting the page, I decided to use it as inspiration for a card. It’s a terrific way to use up patterned paper or cardstock scraps and I love how colorful the card turned out!

Here’s a tip: I gather up my favorite punches or dies (I use circles, scalloped circles, scalloped squares, and butterflies the most) and pre-punch or pre-cut shapes from my scrap paper while I’m watching tv. I sort the punched shapes into bags so that when I neeed an accent, like for this card, they’re ready and waiting for me. It saves me a ton of time and is the perfect way to use up my scraps–which, in turn, frees up space for new supplies!

Not feeling guilty about purchasing new supplies because I saved money be recycling my old scraps. 4. I forgot–its really cute and pretty!
